Abstract: The article deals with the main problems and tasks of administering the process of settling in a college campus (hereinafter a university), the main actors and their role in this process. The basic tasks of automation are described taking into account possible features of the legal base of the educational institution. The normative base of the KNEU named after Vadym Hetman was investigated. A comparative functional analysis of the existing solutions for the automation of university administration and the campus, the functional advantages and the disadvantages of architectural and software solutions in the design are carried out. A computer support system for settling into a campus with elements of artificial intelligence is offered. Such a system will allow in addition to quantitative characteristics to take into account a number of qualitative characteristics, which will allow to take into account the psychological compatibility of people who live in the same room. The variability of the process of settlement / eviction of persons in the campus and the functional responsibilities of the participants of this process are considered. The article does not consider the process of implementation of the proposed solution in the existing business processes, since the implementation process depends to a large extent on the features of the existing organizational structure, legal transparency of the existing processes, the need to modify the information space of the educational institution and the qualification level of employees. The article reveals possible options for a qualitative solution to the issue of displacement of persons (students, staff, etc.), not only in terms of professional orientation, but also a number of psychological and social aspects. The description of the application of mathematical algorithms, in particular the algorithm «Mamdani», the use of elements of fuzzy logic, in particular the machine of fuzzy inference.

The user interface variant for the main modules of the system is offered, the implementation and operation of the prototype based on the software package «FUZZY LOGIC» is demonstrated. The algorithm of system operation and user interaction is described.
