Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» у питаннях дотримання академічної доброчесності та публікаційної етики спирається на рекомендації Комітету з публікаційної етики (Committee on Publication Ethics / COPE, www.publicationethics.org).
Метою політики та її застосування на усіх етапах взаємодії з авторами, рецензентами і читачами є створення безпечного середовища оприлюднення наукової інформації, з відкритими джерелами емпіричної й теоретичної аргументації результатів наукових досліджень та прозорим виділенням авторського внеску в розвиток наукових знань.
В процесі прийняття рішень про доцільність і послідовність публікації поданих статей редакція прагне забезпечити нейтральність щодо світоглядних, політичних, ідеологічних, естетичних позицій авторів, їхньої національної, гендерної, соціальної ідентичності та враховувати лише й виключно методологічну коректність та наукову цінність представлених досліджень та надавати рівний доступ до можливості публікації прибічникам усіх напрямів і шкіл економічної науки, за умови дотримання ними усталених в практиці кращих міжнародних наукових видань принципів забезпечення достовірності й прозорості аргументації наукових досліджень.
Редакція використовує процедури призначення рецензентів, обґрунтування й прийняття рішення щодо доцільності прийняття статті до публікації / відхилення / направлення на доопрацювання, що виключають можливість конфлікту інтересів (описані в Редакційна політика та процедура рецензування)
Для забезпечення прозорості вимог до поданих статей ми формулюємо нижче ці УМОВИ
Чесність у проведенні дослідження:
- спиратись лише на достовірні дані прозоро зазначаючи їх джерела та описуючи умови і процедури їх одержання (визначення), що має забезпечити можливість повторення аналогічних процедур для інших дослідників;
- не вдаватись до викривлень та маніпуляцій, селективного представлення (залучення) даних для упередженого впливу на подальші результати;
- виключати можливість фальсифікації та прозоро декларувати всі авторські зміни та використані процедури обробки;
- дотримуватись нульової терпимості до плагіату, виділяючи та позначаючи згідно стандартів оформлення посилань в тексті статті усі ідеї, дані, формулювання, формально-математичні інструменти і візуальні рішення, що мають не авторське походження.
Прозорість (Transparency):
- Відкритість методів;
- Доступність використаних даних;
- Розкриття обмежень щодо сфери безпечного і коректного застосування результатів та аналогічних дослідницьких інструментів;
- Прозоре декларування принципів селективності у виборі даних, методів, форм представлення результатів;
Прагнення об’єктивності:
Надання рівної уваги та представництва даним, методам і результатам, що як підтверджують, так і спростовують авторські гіпотези та відмова від приховування (викривлення) інформації, що не узгоджується з авторською позицією.
Процедурна коректність (Proper attribution):
- Дотримання правил цитування і стандартів оформлення посилань;
- Виключення плагіату, у тому числі засобами автоматизованої перевірки;
- Чесне визначення внеску співавторів
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» зобов’язується дотримуватися рекомендацій Комітету з публікаційної етики COPE, Європейської асоціації наукових редакторів EASE та принципів публікаційної етики збірника.
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» у своїй діяльності керується міжнародними стандартами відкритої науки та відкритого доступу і регламентує процеси взаємодії з авторами, читачами, рецензентами спираючись на такі ініціативи:
• принципи відкритого доступу, сформульовані в Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI);
• положення Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities;
• вимоги та рекомендації ініціативи Plan S (Coalition S);
• принципи відкритої науки, визначені в рамках UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science (2021).
Збірник наукових праць "Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці" зберігає за авторами авторські права без обмежень.
Статті поширюються на умовах ліцензії Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) .
Політика збірника наукових праць щодо отримання етичного висновку у дослідженнях за участі людей, тварин, їх біоматеріалів та конфіденційних даних
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» у своій діяльності виходить з пріоритету етичних норм та стандартів у наукових дослідженнях, що проводяться за участі людей, тварин, їх біологічних матеріалів, а також у роботах, які охоплюють персональні чи інші конфіденційні дані.
До усіх матеріалів, що подаються для публікації у виданні висуваються вимоги згідно чинного законодавства України, зокрема Законів України «Про охорону прав людини у сфері біомедичних досліджень», «Про захист персональних даних», «Про захист тварин від жорстокого поводження», а також міжнародним етичним настановам (Гельсінська декларація, ARRIVE, CIOMS тощо).
Редакція вимагає від авторів надати підтвердження отримання позитивного висновку від уповноваженого комітету з етики у випадках, коли дослідження:
- передбачає участь людини як дослідного суб’єкта (включно з проведенням спостережень за поведінкою, опитуваннями та експериментальними методами), якщо методика дослідження суттєво відрізняється від усталених класифікацій та групувань, ознак, використовуваних в державних статистичних спостереженнях і опитуваннях, що проводяться на регулярній основі за участю провідних міжнародних організацій та наукових програм (таких як World Walue Survey, International Social Survey Program; Gallop World Poll та інші)
- включає роботу з біоматеріалами людини (кров, тканини, ДНК, біобанки тощо);
- використовує тварин або їх біооб’єкти;
- містить обробку персональних, чутливих чи конфіденційних даних;
- підпадає під спеціальні норми права України або міжнародні регуляції щодо біоетики та біобезпеки;
У висновку мають бути визначені:
- повна назва установи, що його надала;
- дата та номер протоколу;
- форми отриманої інформованої згоди (для досліджень за участі людей)
Автори повинні підтвердити, що інформована згода була отримана добровільно, без тиску, і в зрозумілій учасникам формі.
Редакція докладає усіх необхідних зусиль та покладає на авторів відповідні зобов’язання, щоб унеможливити публікацію персональних даних, або візуальних матеріалів, що дозволяють ідентифікувати особу, без її письмової згоди
Автори мають гарантувати редакції, що дослідження на тваринах, результати яких використані для підготовки статті відповідають принципам 3R (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement).
Автори повинні надати інформацію про умови утримання, використані протоколи та заходи мінімізації страждань тварин.
Обробка персональних даних має відповідати вимогам Закону України «Про захист персональних даних» та General Data Protection Regulation Європейського союзу, якщо вимоги цієї директиви застосовні.
Усі використані в статті дані повинні бути деперсоналізовані або анонімізовані.
У випадках, коли захищеність персональної інформації осіб, залучених до дослідження, на яке спирається стаття викликає обґрунтовані сумніви, редакція залишає за собою право вимагати від авторів докладний опис механізми захисту інформації та процедур обмеження (адміністрування) доступу до неї.
Редакція зобов’язується реагувати на випадки порушення етичних норм, виявлені щодо статті, чи дослідження на яке вона спирається в процесі рецензування, чи редакційно-видавничої підготовки, чи навіть після її публікації, аж до прийняття рішення про відкликання (ретракцію) статті. Рішення ухвалюються відповідно до рекомендацій COPE.
Policy on Academic Integrity and Publication Ethics
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics relies, in matters of academic integrity and publication ethics, on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics — COPE — www.publicationethics.org.
The purpose of this policy and its application at all stages of interaction with authors, reviewers, and readers is to create a safe environment for the dissemination of scientific information, with open sources of empirical and theoretical argumentation supporting research results and with a transparent indication of each author’s contribution to the development of scientific knowledge.
In making decisions on the appropriateness and sequence of publication of submitted articles, the Editorial Board seeks to ensure neutrality regarding the authors’ worldview, political, ideological, and aesthetic positions, as well as their national, gender, and social identity. The Editorial Board takes into account solely and exclusively the methodological correctness and scientific value of the submitted research and provides equal access to publication opportunities for representatives of all areas and schools of economic science, provided that they comply with the principles of ensuring the reliability and transparency of scientific argumentation established in the practice of leading international scientific publications.
The Editorial Board applies procedures for appointing reviewers, substantiating and making decisions on whether to accept an article for publication, reject it, or return it for revision, which exclude the possibility of conflicts of interest. These procedures are described in the Editorial Policy and Peer Review Procedure.
To ensure transparency of the requirements for submitted articles, we set out the following CONDITIONS below.
Integrity in Conducting Research
Authors must:
- rely only on reliable data, clearly indicating their sources and describing the conditions and procedures for obtaining or determining them, in order to make it possible for other researchers to reproduce similar procedures;
- avoid distortions and manipulation, as well as selective presentation or use of data aimed at exerting a biased influence on subsequent results;
- exclude the possibility of falsification and transparently declare all authorial changes and data-processing procedures used;
- adhere to a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism by identifying and marking, in accordance with citation standards in the text of the article, all ideas, data, formulations, formal mathematical tools, and visual solutions that are not of the authors’ own origin.
Transparency. Authors must ensure:
- openness of methods;
- availability of the data used;
- disclosure of limitations concerning the safe and correct scope of application of the results and similar research tools;
- transparent declaration of the principles of selectivity in the choice of data, methods, and forms of presenting results.
Commitment to Objectivity
Authors must give equal attention and representation to data, methods, and results that both confirm and refute their hypotheses, and must refrain from concealing or distorting information that does not correspond to the author’s position.
Procedural Correctness / Proper Attribution
Authors must ensure:
- compliance with citation rules and standards for formatting references;
- exclusion of plagiarism, including through automated verification tools;
- honest identification of the contribution of co-authors.
The Editorial Board of the scientific proceedings “Modelling and Information Systems in Economics” is guided by international standards of open science and open access and regulates its interaction with authors, readers, and reviewers based on the following initiatives:
• the principles of open access formulated in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI);
• the provisions of the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities;
• the requirements and recommendations of the Plan S initiative (Coalition S);
• the principles of open science defined in the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science (2021).
Collection of scientific papers "Modeling and Information Systems in Economics" retains copyright for authors without limitations.
When reusing article materials, authors are obliged to provide a link to the issue of the collection in which the article was first published.
Articles are distributed under the terms of the license Creative Commons Attribution International (CC BY).
Policy of the scientific proceedings regarding obtaining ethical approval in research involving humans, animals, their biomaterials, and confidential data
The Editorial Board of the scientific proceedings “Modelling and Information Systems in Economics” in its activities proceeds from the priority of ethical norms and standards in scientific research conducted with the participation of humans, animals, their biological materials, as well as in studies involving personal or other confidential data.
All materials submitted for publication in the proceedings are subject to the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular the Laws of Ukraine “On Protection of Human Rights in Biomedical Research”, “On Personal Data Protection”, “On Protection of Animals from Cruelty”, as well as international ethical guidelines (the Declaration of Helsinki, ARRIVE, CIOMS, etc.).
The Editorial Board requires authors to provide confirmation of obtaining a positive opinion from an authorized ethics committee in cases where the research:
- involves the participation of a human as a research subject (including behavioral observation, surveys, and experimental methods), if the research methodology significantly differs from established classifications and groupings and indicators used in official statistical observations and surveys conducted on a regular basis with the participation of leading international organizations and research programs (such as World Value Survey, International Social Survey Programme, Gallup World Poll, and others);
- includes work with human biomaterials (blood, tissues, DNA, biobanks, etc.);
- uses animals or their biological objects;
- involves the processing of personal, sensitive, or confidential data;
- falls under special provisions of Ukrainian law or international regulations on bioethics and biosafety.
The ethical approval must specify:
- the full name of the institution that issued it;
- the date and protocol number;
- the forms of informed consent obtained (for research involving humans).
Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained voluntarily, without coercion, and in a form understandable to the participants.
The Editorial Board makes all necessary efforts and imposes соответствующие obligations on authors to prevent the publication of personal data or visual materials that allow identification of an individual without their written consent.
Authors must guarantee to the Editorial Board that research on animals, the results of which are used in the preparation of the article, complies with the principles of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement).
Authors must provide information on housing conditions, applied protocols, and measures taken to minimize animal suffering.
The processing of personal data must comply with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, where applicable.
All data used in the article must be depersonalized or anonymized.
In cases where the protection of personal information of individuals involved in the research underlying the article raises reasonable doubts, the Editorial Board reserves the right to require from the authors a detailed description of data protection mechanisms and procedures for restricting (administering) access to such information.
The Editorial Board undertakes to respond to cases of violations of ethical norms identified in relation to an article or the research on which it is based during the peer review process, editorial and publishing preparation, or even after publication, up to and including a decision on retraction of the article. Decisions are made in accordance with the recommendations of COPE.
