З метою забезпечення високого наукового рівня та якості статей, що публікуються в журналі «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці», всі матеріали, які надходять до редакції, проходять обов'язкове рецензування.

 Журнал дотримується міжнародних стандартів етики публікацій відповідно до міжнародних етичних правил Комітету з етики в публікаціях COPE (Committee on Publication ethics).

 Статті, подані до журналу, рецензуються конфіденційно за принципами double-blind рецензування (двостороннє "сліпе" рецензування, коли ані автор, ані рецензент не знають імен одне одного). Рецензування здійснюють фахівці відповідної спеціальності з науковим ступенем та досвідом у галузі.

 Статті, що надходять до редакції, перевіряються на відповідність вимогам до структури та оформлення матеріалів, після чого надсилаються рецензентам, яких призначає Головний редактор.

Обов’язки рецензентів. Рецензенти зобов’язані:

  • дотримуватися принципів конфіденційності;
  • надавати об’єктивну, неупереджену та аргументовану оцінку;
  • повідомляти редакцію про будь-який потенційний конфлікт інтересів;
  • утримуватися від використання матеріалів статті у власних дослідженнях без згоди автора.

Обов’язки авторів. Автори зобов’язані:

  • подавати оригінальні наукові роботи;
  • дотримуватися принципів академічної доброчесності;
  • уникати плагіату, фабрикації та фальсифікації даних;
  • належним чином оформлювати посилання на використані джерела;
  • повідомляти про потенційні конфлікти інтересів.

Обов’язки редакції. Редакція збірника наукових праць зобов’язана:

  • надавати авторам доступ до прозорих стандартних вимог до рукописів; інструкції щодо участі у редакційно-видавничого процесі; інформацію про етап підготовки публікації та очікувані терміни її оприлюднення; пояснення причини у разі відхилення статті та обґрунтування пропозицій щодо доопрацювання;
  • надавати рецензентам інструкції та форми, що підлягають заповненню за результатами рецензування, і забезпечуватимуть прозорість критеріїв рецензування та прийняття рішення про прийняття до публікації / відхилення / відправлення на доопрацювання статті;

Зокрема, на первинному етапі (до рецензування) редакція здійснює попередню оцінку рукопису, зокрема перевіряє:

  • відповідність тематиці збірника;
  • дотримання вимог до оформлення;
  • наявність необхідних метаданих;
  • відповідність принципам академічної доброчесності (у тому числі забезпечує перевірку на плагіат).

у разі виявлення невідповідностей вимогам збірника стаття може бути повернена автору на доопрацювання або відхилена до передавання на рецензування;

на етапі рецензування рішення щодо статті враховує:

  • обґрунтованість та значущість наукової новизни;
  • інтертекстуальність (включеність) до наукового дискурсу та коректність авторського тлумачення методологічних підходів, використаних в статті
  • обґрунтованість вибору і коректність застосування кількісних і якісних методів дослідження;
  • достовірність (обґрунтованість) результатів;
  • методологічна та мовна культура;
  • відповідність тематиці видання.
  • відповідність редакційній політиці та етичним засадам журналу, вимогам до рукописів.


За результатами ознайомлення з рукописом статті рецензенти надсилають до редакції одну з рекомендацій:

 1. Рекомендувати статтю до публікації.

2. Рекомендувати статтю до публікації після доопрацювання автором з урахуванням зауважень.

3. Рекомендувати статтю до публікації після докорінного перероблювання (в цьому випадку стаття надсилається на повторне рецензування).

4. Рекомендувати відмовити у публікації статті із зазначенням причин такого рішення.

 

Редакція надсилає автору рекомендації рецензента електронною поштою. Автор, отримавши рекомендації, бере їх до уваги та доопрацьовує чи переробляє статтю, або надсилає обґрунтовану відмову від прийняття рекомендацій (зауважень) рецензентів. Після виправлення зауважень, або прийняття обґрунтування автора, Редакційна колегія приймає остаточне рішення щодо публікації статті.


Кожен номер збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» рекомендується до друку вченою радою Київського національного економічного університету імені Вадима Гетьмана.

Peer Review Policy

In order to ensure a high scientific level and quality of the articles published in the journal Modelling and Information Systems in Economics, all materials submitted to the Editorial Office undergo mandatory peer review.

The journal adheres to international standards of publication ethics in accordance with the international ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics — COPE.

Articles submitted to the journal are reviewed confidentially according to the principles of double-blind peer review, meaning that neither the author nor the reviewer knows the identity of the other party. Peer review is carried out by specialists in the relevant field who hold an academic degree and have professional experience in the area concerned.

Articles submitted to the Editorial Office are checked for compliance with the requirements for the structure and formatting of materials, after which they are sent to reviewers appointed by the Editor-in-Chief.

Duties of Reviewers. Reviewers are obliged to:

  • maintain confidentiality;
  • provide an objective, impartial, and well-reasoned assessment;
  • inform the Editorial Office of any potential conflict of interest;
  • refrain from using the materials of the article in their own research without the author’s consent.

Duties of Authors. Authors are obliged to:

  • submit original scientific works;
  • adhere to the principles of academic integrity;
  • avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification;
  • properly cite all sources used;
  • report any potential conflicts of interest.

Duties of the Editorial Office

The Editorial Office of the collection of scientific papers is obliged to:

  • provide authors with access to transparent standard requirements for manuscripts; instructions regarding participation in the editorial and publishing process; information on the stage of publication preparation and the expected timeframe for publication; explanations of the reasons for rejection of an article; and justification of recommendations for revision;
  • provide reviewers with instructions and forms to be completed following the review process, ensuring transparency of the review criteria and of decisions regarding acceptance for publication, rejection, or return of the article for revision.
  • In particular, at the initial stage, before peer review, the Editorial Office conducts a preliminary assessment of the manuscript, including verification of:
  • compliance with the thematic scope of the collection;
  • compliance with formatting requirements;
  • availability of the required metadata;
  • compliance with the principles of academic integrity, including plagiarism checking.
  • If inconsistencies with the requirements of the collection are identified, the article may be returned to the author for revision or rejected before being sent for peer review.

At the peer review stage, the decision regarding the article takes into account:

  • the validity and significance of the scientific novelty;
  • intertextuality, that is, the inclusion of the article in scientific discourse, and the correctness of the author’s interpretation of the methodological approaches used in the article;
  • the justification of the choice and correctness of the application of quantitative and qualitative research methods;
  • the reliability and validity of the results;
  • methodological and linguistic quality;
  • compliance with the thematic scope of the publication;
  • compliance with the editorial policy and ethical principles of the journal, as well as the manuscript requirements.

Based on their evaluation of the manuscript, reviewers submit one of the following recommendations to the Editorial Office:

  1. Recommend the article for publication.
  2. Recommend the article for publication after revision by the author, taking into account the reviewer’s comments.
  3. Recommend the article for publication after substantial revision; in this case, the article is submitted for repeated peer review.
  4. Recommend refusal of publication, indicating the reasons for such a decision.

The Editorial Office sends the reviewer’s recommendations to the author by e-mail. After receiving the recommendations, the author takes them into account and revises or substantially rewrites the article, or submits a reasoned refusal to accept the reviewers’ recommendations or comments. After the comments have been addressed, or after the author’s justification has been accepted, the Editorial Board makes the final decision regarding publication of the article.

Each issue of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics is recommended for publication by the Academic Council of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
