Редакція збірника рекомендує авторам:

  • забезпечувати доступ до дослідницьких даних, що підтверджують результати дослідження;
  • дотримуватися принципів FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable);
  • надавати достатній опис даних для їх повторного використання.

Надання відкритих даних є бажаним, але не обов’язковим, і здійснюється з урахуванням:

  • вимог законодавства;
  • етичних обмежень;
  • захисту персональних даних;
  • комерційної або конфіденційної інформації.

Типи дослідницьких даних. До дослідницьких даних можуть належати:

  1. масиви статистичних або емпіричних даних;
  2. результати опитувань та експериментів;
  3. аналітичні таблиці та розрахунки;
  4. програмний код, алгоритми або моделі;
  5. інші матеріали, що забезпечують відтворюваність результатів дослідження.

Розміщення даних. Автори можуть розміщувати дослідницькі дані:

  • у відкритих міжнародних репозитаріях (наприклад, Zenodo, Figshare);
  • в інституційних репозитаріях;
  • як додаткові матеріали до статті на платформі журналу.

Рекомендується обирати репозитарії, які забезпечують:

  • постійне збереження даних;
  • присвоєння DOI або іншого ідентифікатора;
  • відкритий доступ до матеріалів.

Посилання на дані. У разі розміщення даних автори повинні:

  • зазначити посилання на репозитарій у тексті статті;
  • включити дані до списку використаних джерел (за наявності DOI);
  • додати розділ “Data Availability Statement” із описом доступності даних.

Обмеження доступу. Усі обмеження щодо доступу до даних мають відповідати чинному законодавству України, зокрема у сфері захисту персональних даних, комерційної таємниці та конфіденційної інформації. У випадках, коли відкриття даних є неможливим, автори повинні зазначити причини, зокрема:

  • конфіденційність або персональні дані;
  • комерційна таємниця;
  • договірні обмеження;
  • етичні міркування.

У таких випадках допускається:

  • часткове відкриття даних;
  • надання доступу за запитом;
  • опис даних без їх повного розкриття.

Роль редакції. Редакція збірника:

  • заохочує авторів до відкритого обміну даними;
  • не несе відповідальності за зміст та достовірність наданих даних;
  • може перевіряти наявність інформації про доступність даних;
  • враховує відкритість даних як позитивний фактор якості дослідження.

Відповідність міжнародним стандартам. Політика відкритих даних журналу відповідає:

Політика збірника наукових праць щодо отримання етичного висновку у дослідженнях за участі людей, тварин, їх біоматеріалів та конфіденційних даних


Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» у своій діяльності виходить з пріоритету етичних норм та стандартів у наукових дослідженнях, що проводяться за участі людей, тварин, їх біологічних матеріалів, а також у роботах, які охоплюють персональні чи інші конфіденційні дані.

До усіх матеріалів, що подаються для публікації у виданні висуваються вимоги згідно чинного законодавства України, зокрема Законів України «Про охорону прав людини у сфері біомедичних досліджень», «Про захист персональних даних», «Про захист тварин від жорстокого поводження», а також міжнародним етичним настановам (Гельсінська декларація, ARRIVE, CIOMS тощо).

Редакція вимагає від авторів надати підтвердження отримання позитивного висновку від уповноваженого комітету з етики у випадках, коли дослідження:  

  • передбачає участь людини як дослідного суб’єкта (включно з проведенням спостережень за поведінкою, опитуваннями та експериментальними методами), якщо методика дослідження суттєво відрізняється від усталених класифікацій та групувань, ознак, використовуваних в державних статистичних спостереженнях і опитуваннях, що проводяться на регулярній основі за участю провідних міжнародних організацій та наукових програм (таких як World Walue Survey, International Social Survey Program; Gallop World Poll та інші)
  •  включає роботу з біоматеріалами людини (кров, тканини, ДНК, біобанки тощо);
  •  використовує тварин або їх біооб’єкти;
  • містить обробку персональних, чутливих чи конфіденційних даних;
  • підпадає під спеціальні норми права України або міжнародні регуляції щодо біоетики та біобезпеки;

У висновку мають бути визначені:

  • повна назва установи, що його надала;
  •  дата та номер протоколу;
  • форми отриманої інформованої згоди (для досліджень за участі людей)

Автори повинні підтвердити, що інформована згода була отримана добровільно, без тиску, і в зрозумілій учасникам формі.

Редакція докладає усіх необхідних зусиль та покладає на авторів відповідні зобов’язання, щоб унеможливити публікацію персональних даних, або візуальних матеріалів, що дозволяють ідентифікувати особу, без її письмової згоди

Автори мають гарантувати редакції, що дослідження на тваринах, результати яких використані для підготовки статті відповідають принципам 3R (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement).

Автори повинні надати інформацію про умови утримання, використані протоколи та заходи мінімізації страждань тварин.

Обробка персональних даних має відповідати вимогам Закону України «Про захист персональних даних» та General Data Protection Regulation Європейського союзу, якщо вимоги цієї директиви застосовні.

Усі використані в статті дані повинні бути деперсоналізовані або анонімізовані.

У випадках, коли захищеність персональної інформації осіб, залучених до дослідження, на яке спирається стаття викликає обґрунтовані сумніви, редакція залишає за собою право вимагати від авторів докладний опис механізми захисту інформації та процедур обмеження (адміністрування) доступу до неї.

Редакція зобов’язується реагувати на випадки порушення етичних норм, виявлені щодо статті, чи дослідження на яке вона спирається в процесі рецензування, чи редакційно-видавничої підготовки, чи навіть після її публікації, аж до прийняття рішення про відкликання (ретракцію) статті. Рішення ухвалюються відповідно до рекомендацій COPE.



The Editorial Board of the collection recommends that authors:

  • ensure access to the research data supporting the results of the study;
  • adhere to the FAIR principles: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable;
  • provide a sufficient description of the data to enable their reuse.

The provision of open data is encouraged but not mandatory and is carried out with due regard to:

  • legal requirements;
  • ethical restrictions;
  • personal data protection;
  • commercial or confidential information.

Types of research data. Research data may include:

  • sets of statistical or empirical data;
  • results of surveys and experiments;
  • analytical tables and calculations;
  • software code, algorithms, or models;
  • other materials that ensure the reproducibility of research results.

Data placement. Authors may place research data:

  • in open international repositories, such as Zenodo or Figshare;
  • in institutional repositories;
  • as supplementary materials to the article on the journal platform.
  • It is recommended to choose repositories that ensure:
  • long-term preservation of data;
  • assignment of a DOI or another identifier;
  • open access to the materials.

References to data. If data are deposited, authors must:

  • indicate the link to the repository in the text of the article;
  • include the data in the list of references, if a DOI is available;
  • add a “Data Availability Statement” describing the availability of the data.

Access restrictions. Any restrictions on access to data must comply with the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular in the field of personal data protection, commercial secrets, and confidential information. In cases where opening the data is impossible, authors must indicate the reasons, including:

  • confidentiality or personal data;
  • commercial secrecy;
  • contractual restrictions;
  • ethical considerations.
  • In such cases, the following are permitted:
  • partial disclosure of data;
  • provision of access upon request;
  • description of the data without full disclosure.

Role of the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board of the collection:

  • encourages authors to openly share data;
  • is not responsible for the content and reliability of the data provided;
  • may verify the availability of information on data accessibility;
  • considers data openness as a positive factor in the quality of the research.

Compliance with international standards. The journal’s open data policy complies with:

  • the principles of open science;
  • the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);
  • the FAIR principles for research data management.


Policy of the Collection of Scientific Papers on Obtaining Ethical Approval for Research Involving Humans, Animals, Their Biomaterials, and Confidential Data

The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics bases its activities on the priority of ethical norms and standards in scientific research involving humans, animals, their biological materials, as well as works involving personal or other confidential data.

All materials submitted for publication in the journal are subject to the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular the Laws of Ukraine “On the Protection of Human Rights in the Field of Biomedical Research,” “On Personal Data Protection,” “On the Protection of Animals from Cruelty,” as well as international ethical guidelines, including the Declaration of Helsinki, ARRIVE, CIOMS, and others.

The Editorial Board requires authors to provide confirmation of a positive opinion from an authorized ethics committee in cases where the research:

  • involves human participation as research subjects, including behavioral observations, surveys, and experimental methods, if the research methodology differs significantly from established classifications, groupings, and characteristics used in official statistical observations and surveys conducted regularly with the participation of leading international organizations and scientific programs, such as the World Values Survey, International Social Survey Programme, Gallup World Poll, and others;
  • involves work with human biomaterials, including blood, tissues, DNA, biobanks, and similar materials;
  • uses animals or their biological objects;
  • involves the processing of personal, sensitive, or confidential data;
  • falls under special provisions of Ukrainian law or international regulations on bioethics and biosafety.
  • The ethical approval must specify:
  • the full name of the institution that issued it;
  • the date and protocol number;
  • the forms of informed consent obtained, for studies involving human participants.

Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained voluntarily, without pressure, and in a form understandable to the participants.

The Editorial Board makes all necessary efforts and places corresponding obligations on authors to prevent the publication of personal data or visual materials that allow a person to be identified without their written consent.

Authors must guarantee to the Editorial Board that animal studies whose results were used in the preparation of the article comply with the 3R principles: Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement.

Authors must provide information on animal housing conditions, the protocols used, and measures taken to minimize animal suffering.

The processing of personal data must comply with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, where the requirements of this regulation are applicable.

All data used in the article must be depersonalized or anonymized.

In cases where the protection of personal information of individuals involved in the research on which the article is based raises reasonable doubts, the Editorial Board reserves the right to require authors to provide a detailed description of the mechanisms for information protection and procedures for restricting or administering access to such information.

The Editorial Board undertakes to respond to cases of violations of ethical standards identified in relation to an article or the research on which it is based during the peer-review process, editorial and publishing preparation, or even after publication, up to and including the decision to retract the article. Such decisions are made in accordance with COPE recommendations.
