Редакційна політика та процедура рецензування.
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці»:
- прагне надати рівні можливості та доступ до неупередженого рецензування для усіх авторів та здійснювати відбір статей для публікації виключно за критеріями наукової цінності та прикладної значущості здійснених авторами досліджень, згідно з проблематикою видання та потребами наукової спільноти України та інших країн
- забезпечує технічну та інформаційну підтримку користувачів збірника наукових праць для чого використовує рекомендоване програмне забезпечення, що забезпечує прозорість та єдиний регламент взаємодії авторів, рецензентів і редакторів на усіх етапах подання, рецензування, доопрацювання, видавничої підготовки та оприлюднення статей.
- гарантує конфіденційність матеріалів, поданих до збірника, протягом всього редакційно-видавничого процесу, згідно положень Закону України «Про захист персональних даних» і загального регламенту захисту даних GDPR. регламент
- розглядає, прозоро обговорює та в разі відповідності місії, цілям та редакційній політиці враховує зауваження та пропозиції читачів, авторів та рецензентів щодо удосконалення застосовуваних процедур.
- оперативно реагує на обґрунтовані скарги щодо діяльності редакції за прозорою і наперед визначеною процедурою, що забезпечує захист інтересів усіх стейкхолдерів видавничого процесу.
- забезпечує публікацію лише статей, що пройшли належне рецензування, відповідають проблематиці та рубрикам видання, редакційній політиці, належне інформування читачів та повністю відкритий доступ до усього опублікованого контенту.
- надає авторам доступ до прозорих стандартних вимог до рукописів, інструкції щодо участі у редакційно-видавничого процесі, інформує про етап підготовки публікації та очікувані терміни її оприлюднення.
- надає авторам прозорі критерії рецензування та пояснення причини у разі відхилення статті та обґрунтування пропозицій щодо доопрацювання.
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» визначає рецензентів для кожного рукопису виключно за критеріями збігу проблематики і компетентності в методах та з урахуванням їх завантаженості й строків рецензування (підбирає рецензентів, які мають цитовані статті з проблематики рецензованої статті у виданнях, що індексуються в SCOPUs або WoS, а за відсутності доступу (завантаженості) таких – тих, які мають цитовані публікації з проблематики рецензованої статті у виданнях, належних до групи «Б» згідно з фаховою реєстрацією та використовує процедуру подвійного анонімного (Double-anonymized) рецензування, що передбачає:
- автори статей не знають рецензентів, а рецензенти не знають авторів рецензованої статті;
- для цього статті проходять процедуру «анонімізації» перед рецензуванням, що включає видалення метаданих авторів та приховування самоцитування;
- рекомендація рецензентів відхилити / прийняти / відправити на доопрацювання статтю виноситься на обговорення робочої групи редакції та оформлюється відповідним рішенням, з обґрунтуванням згідно із затвердженою формою;
- рецензенти взаємодіють з редактором та авторами (відповідальним автором) з приводу усіх питань доопрацювання статті до прийняття її до публікації;
- автори як і редактор одержують доступ до заповнених бланків рецензування щодо їх статті;
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» залишає за собою право на літературне редагування та стилістичне корегування текстів, що не викривлює думку і тези автора.
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» надає автору можливість припинення процесу рецензування та публікації з архівацією рукопису в системі збірника (в разі, коли автор у відповідному запиті про припинення публікації декларує бажання відновити подання у майбутньому), або з гарантованим видаленням з усіх носіїв редакції (в разі, коли автор декларує бажання остаточно відмовитись від публікації у збірнику наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці»);
Редакція збірника наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» забезпечує уникнення Конфліктів інтересів в процесі видавничої діяльності, зокрема вимагаючи від усіх учасників видавничої діяльності (рецензентів, авторів і редакторів) своєчасно інформувати про обставини, що можуть впливати на прийняття рішення створюючи загрозу ненаукової упередженості такої особи
Під Конфліктом інтересів розуміються усі обставини, що стосуються осіб, які приймають (впливають на) рішення стосовно публікації статей в збірнику наукових праць «Моделювання та інформаційні системи в економіці» та їх організацій (організацій, з якими такі особи пов'язані) та створюють для таких осіб можливості отримання вигід чи важелів впливу для вилучення вигід завдяки використанню свого впливу на рішення щодо публікації і дозволяє на цій основі обґрунтовано очікувати, що такі особи керуватимуться іншими, а не лише суто науковими мотивами прийняття рішення щодо публікації.
АКАДЕМІЧНА ДОБРОЧЕСНІСТЬ
Редакція видання здійснює внутрішнє анонімне рецензування статей та перевірку на наявність плагіату. Статті у виданні перевірені на наявність плагіату за допомогою програмного забезпечення StrikePlagiarism.com від польської компанії Plagiat.pl.
Статті студентів редакція приймає лише у співавторстві з науковим керівником (або іншим вченим, який має науковий ступінь кандидата або доктора наук).
ЗАБОРОНА ВИКОРИСТАННЯ НАУКОВИХ ПРАЦЬ КРАЇНИ-ОКУПАНТА
Забороняється цитування в тексті та внесення до бібліографічних списків тих джерел, які опубліковані російською мовою в будь-якій країні, а також джерел іншими мовами, якщо вони опубліковані на території росії та білорусі.
Editorial Policy and Peer Review Procedure
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics:
- seeks to provide equal opportunities and access to impartial peer review for all authors and to select articles for publication exclusively on the basis of the scientific value and applied significance of the research conducted by the authors, in accordance with the subject area of the publication and the needs of the scientific community of Ukraine and other countries;
- provides technical and informational support to users of the collection of scientific papers by using recommended software that ensures transparency and a unified procedure for interaction among authors, reviewers, and editors at all stages of submission, peer review, revision, publishing preparation, and publication of articles;
- guarantees the confidentiality of materials submitted to the collection throughout the entire editorial and publishing process, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR;
- considers, transparently discusses, and, where consistent with the mission, goals, and editorial policy of the publication, takes into account comments and suggestions from readers, authors, and reviewers regarding the improvement of the procedures applied;
- responds promptly to substantiated complaints concerning the activities of the Editorial Board in accordance with a transparent and predefined procedure that protects the interests of all stakeholders in the publishing process;
- ensures the publication only of articles that have undergone proper peer review, correspond to the subject area and sections of the publication, comply with the editorial policy, provide proper information to readers, and are made fully open access;
- provides authors with access to transparent standard requirements for manuscripts, instructions for participation in the editorial and publishing process, and information on the stage of publication preparation and the expected timeframe for publication;
- provides authors with transparent peer review criteria and, in the event of article rejection, an explanation of the reasons for rejection and justification of recommendations for revision.
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics selects reviewers for each manuscript exclusively according to the criteria of thematic relevance and methodological competence, taking into account reviewers’ workload and review deadlines. The Editorial Board selects reviewers who have cited articles on the subject of the reviewed manuscript in journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science; if such reviewers are unavailable or overloaded, reviewers with cited publications on the subject of the reviewed article in journals classified as category “B” according to professional registration may be selected.
The collection applies a double-anonymized peer review procedure, which provides that:
- authors of articles do not know the reviewers, and reviewers do not know the authors of the article under review;
- for this purpose, articles undergo an anonymization procedure before peer review, including the removal of author metadata and concealment of self-citations;
- reviewers’ recommendations to reject, accept, or return an article for revision are submitted for discussion by the Editorial Board working group and formalized by an appropriate decision, with justification according to the approved form;
- reviewers interact with the editor and the authors, or the corresponding author, regarding all issues of article revision before it is accepted for publication;
- authors, as well as the editor, receive access to the completed peer review forms for their article.
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics reserves the right to perform literary editing and stylistic correction of texts, provided that such editing does not distort the author’s ideas and arguments.
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics gives the author the opportunity to terminate the peer review and publication process, with archiving of the manuscript in the collection’s system if the author declares in the relevant request a wish to resume the submission in the future, or with guaranteed deletion from all editorial storage media if the author declares a final decision to withdraw from publication in the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics.
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics ensures the avoidance of conflicts of interest in the publishing process, in particular by requiring all participants in publishing activities — reviewers, authors, and editors — to promptly report circumstances that may influence decision-making and create a risk of non-scientific bias.
A conflict of interest means any circumstances concerning persons who make or influence decisions regarding the publication of articles in the collection of scientific papers Modelling and Information Systems in Economics, as well as their organizations or organizations with which such persons are affiliated, that create opportunities for such persons to obtain benefits or leverage to extract benefits through the use of their influence on publication decisions, and on this basis allow a reasonable expectation that such persons may be guided by motives other than purely scientific considerations when making publication decisions.
Academic Integrity
- The Editorial Board conducts internal anonymous peer review of articles and checks for plagiarism. Articles in the publication are checked for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com software by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
- The Editorial Board accepts student articles only in co-authorship with a scientific supervisor or another scholar who holds the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Sciences.
Prohibition on the Use of Scientific Works from the Occupying Country
Citation in the text and inclusion in bibliographic lists of sources published in Russian in any country are prohibited, as are sources in other languages if they were published in the territory of Russia or Belarus.
